As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will
take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed,
Yet from my flesh I shall see God;

TEN TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH - from Job 19:25-26

   1.“And as for me”I MUST MAKE A PERSONAL DECISION
   2.“I know” I CAN BE CONFIDENT IN THE RESURRECTION
   3.“that my Redeemer”THE KEY: JESUS IS MY REDEEMER
   4.“livesHIS RESURRECTION IS MY RESURRECTION
   5.“and at the last”LIFE AS I KNOW IT WILL END
   6.“He will take His stand”ALL HISTORY POINTS TO JESUS’ KINGDOM REIGN
   7.“on the earth.”EARTH = DUST; JESUS WILL CONTROL ALL THE DEAD
   8.“Even after my skin is destroyed”I WILL DIE & MY EARTHLY BODY WILL DECAY
   9.“yet from my flesh”I WILL HAVE A NEW RESURRECTION BODY

THREE THINGS BELIEF IN THE RESURRECTION GIVES ME
  1. SALVATION [ Romans 10:9 ] If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

  2. HEAVEN [ John 11:25 ] Jesus said . . . “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies.”

  3. STRENGTH (over sin) [ 1 Corinthians 15:57 ] (in the context of Jesus’ resurrection and speaking about the sting and power of sin) But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
