Oaks Bible Church has been leasing property since its inception in 2005. Now we are researching properties in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area. We are actively pursuing property, actively praying for God’s guidance.
Our church initiated a lay task force to begin the search ; several properties have been viewed. We will be placing some of our research results here. Some entries will include pictures or links to pictures that our congregation (and guests) may look at.-
The “Harvest Christian Fellowship” property
has recently become available; at 150 Pebble Hill Place,
(off Calle Real, west of In-n-Out) The Oaks Council has made a recommendation
to the congregation to pursue the possibility of purchasing the
facility. Oaks folks will have an opportunity to tour the property
May 20, at 6:00 PM, prior to a congregational meeting on May 25.

- July 6, 2006 Oaks is moving to the facility of Harvest Christian Fellowship on Pebble Hill Place! We will begin Sunday services there on July 20 – in just 3 weeks! Our rent, beginning in August, will be a significant increase over our present rent, so we look to our faithful Oaks family to help with this need. If we can negotiate a purchase agreement, all rental dollars would apply to the purchase. We have begun a "Harvest Fund" to raise funds for a credible down payment offer. If God is prompting you to give to this fund, now is the time to step forward.
- July 12, 2008 Oaks Bible Church and Harvest Christian Fellowship members, pastors, and Staff met to do a little sprucing up of the Sanctuary, Offices and grounds prior to moving the Oaks storage container to the Pebble Hill Place site.
